Time-Based E&M Code Recommendation

As of January 1st 2021, significant changes to the office and outpatient Evaluation and Management (E&M) services (CPT ® codes 99202-99215) for both new and established patients have been made. Practices, physicians and staff must be aware of the modifications to ensure a successful transition next year and avoid any disruption in reimbursement.

Option to Mark Claim Status as 'On Hold'

With this enhancement in the CureMD application, users can mark specific claim statuses (new or existing) as 'On Hold'. This helps users move claims from the 'Clean' bucket to the 'On Hold' one.

Adding Commas to Para/Gravida Flag

With this enhancement in CureMD application, para and gravida flags in provider notes are separated by commas. This helps to improve the visibility of the flag values.

Addition of WC Charge Type in Patient Charges

With this change in the CureMD application, users can see label of ‘WC’ instead of ‘C4’ when the insurance has the qualifier of WC. This helps keep the labels generic and saves users from confusion.
