What are Expired Referrals?
All saved referrals expire when the current date exceeds the mentioned effective date range.
Follow the workflow mentioned above to land on the ‘Referrals’ window and select a referral from the listing section.
When a referral expires, the system displays a warning sign next the ‘Effective Dates’ range field in the referral.
Meanwhile, the system displays the ‘Expired’ status against an expired referral in the listing section.
When the user navigates to the Incoming Referral section, if a referral has consumed all of its approved visits, the system promptly marks it as ‘expired’ and an identification icon is displayed next to the expired referral.
For instance, When the user accesses the Incoming referral listing and opens a referral that initially had three approved visits and two appointments have already been consumed, leaving just one remaining visit. When the user associates one more appointment with that referral and clicks on save, the approved visits count drops to zero.
With this enhancement, this referral is automatically marked as ‘expired’, offering the user a visual cue and further details upon hovering.
