- Prior authorization visits are now tracked at the procedure line level
- One visit is automatically deducted when an authorization is applied
- Only one visit is deducted per charge, regardless of multiple applications
- Prevents duplicate or excessive visit deductions across claim and line levels
- Enhances visibility into authorization utilization
How It Works
- Navigate to a charge and apply a prior authorization at the procedure level.
- When the charge is processed:
• The system automatically deducts one visit from the associated authorization - If the same authorization is applied multiple times (claim-level or line-level):
• The system still deducts only one visit per charge - The updated visit count is reflected in the Prior Authorization module
