CMS77v5 – HIV/AIDS: RNA Control for Patients with HIV CMS77v5 Percentage of patients aged 13 years and older with a diagnosis
of HIV/AIDS, with at least two visits during the measurement year,
with at least 90 days between each visit, whose most
recent HIV RNA level is <200 copies/mL
– INITIAL POPULATION

All patients aged 13 years and older with a diagnosis of HIV/AIDS with at least two visits during the measurement year, with at least 90 days between each visit

– DENOMINATOR

All patients aged 13 years and older with a diagnosis of HIV/AIDS with at least two visits during the measurement year, with at least 90 days between each visit are included in the denominator of this measure.

– NUMERATOR

Patients whose most recent HIV RNA level is <200 copies/mL during the measurement period are included in the numerator of this measure.

– APPLICATION WORKFLOW

For Denominator:
All patients with a diagnosis of HIV are included in denominator. To add diagnosis, navigate to Patient > Clinical > Diagnosis.

HIV/AIDS

For Numerator:
Patients whose most recent HIV RNA level is <200 copies/mL during the measurement period are included in the numerator. To record laboratory test, navigate to Patient > Clinical > Orders and Results > Lab > Add Result, and add the value in the value field of the observation.
