IV Sites

The ‘IV Sites’ quick link allows the user to document intravenous access. Following the above mentioned workflow takes the user to ‘IV Sites’ window.

From the ‘IV Sites’ window, user can add ‘IV Sites’, ‘IV Needle Gauge’, ‘Attempts’, ‘Site Conditions’, and ‘Comments’.

Moreover, user can use the CVAD section to document Central Venous Access Device information.

Once the data has been recorded in the IV or CVAD section, it is reflected in the signed Chemo Admin and the provider note.  The CVAD charting section has also been made a part of the PRE-Auth and Administration Reports.
