How to Enable/Disable User Permissions for NPI Library Search?
Settings > Practice > Practice User > Permissions
The user permissions for searching and importing providers from the NPI Library can be adjusted from the ‘Settings’ module.
Follow the workflow above to land on the ‘Permissions’ screen.
Scroll down to the ‘Referrals’ section. The system displays a ‘Search and Import Provider from NPI Library’ checkbox under referrals.
If this checkbox is disabled for specific users, the system won’t allow them to search and import providers from the NPI library.
