How to Set Claim Filing Indicator?
Patient > Select Patient > Insurance
The Claim Filing Indicator removes the need for duplicate plans and allows the user to set the indicator as needed.
Once done, click ‘Save’ to add insurance to the patient’s profile.
Patients are considered eligible for CCM services if the claim filing indicator ‘Mb’ or ’16’ is selected for them from the above drop down. 
CCM services are only offered by insurances that have the claim filing indicator MB (Medicare Part B) or 16 (Health Maintenance Organization HMO Medicare Risk). Which is why patients with ‘MB’ or ’16’ as their claim filing indicator are considered eligible for CCM irrespective of the claim filing indicator recorded for their insurance in settings.
