How to Add National Clinical Trial Number (NCTN) against a procedure?
National Clinical Trial Number (NCTN) is a unique number payers require to be entered against the procedure in order to be presented in the claim files. CureMD application allows the user to enter an NCT Number against a procedure.
In addition, the users can enter detailed information regarding the procedures, a field named “National Clinical Trial Number” in the procedures section.
An NCT Number will be generated in the electronic as well as paper form whenever a claim is generated for a procedure.
Where the NCT number appears in the electronic claim (HCFA Claim), it is also added into the UB04 Paper Claim.
