What is a Service Usage Analysis Report?
The report generates data for the top 10 procedures. Any payments that are posted at appointment level are not included the Service Usage Analysis Reports. Co-pays or advances which are not yet allocated are also not included.
The report enables users to view top utilized codes for their practice based on the selected criteria. These codes include both ‘ICDs’ and ‘CPTs’. However, a user can select the required codes from the search page. The report outputs the codes and their usage with respect to amount and frequency of usage.
Follow the workflow above to land on the ‘Service Usage Analysis’ screen.
Use the relevant fields from the drop down menu for search criteria, indicating the ‘Location’, ‘Responsible Plan’, ‘Provider/Resource’, and select whether CPT(s)/ICD(s) or both need to be included for given date range. Click on ‘Print’ to generate a report.
The report indicates top utilized CPT and/or ICD codes according to the designated search parameters.
