What is the Summary RVU Analysis Report?

User can also generate Summary of the RVU analysis report by following the workflow and setting the desired parameters for this report. This report lists all the CPTs and the TRVUs generated against each one. The report doesn’t mention which provider performed that CPT or at what location. It can also be accessed at a second workflow (Personal > KPI > RVU Analysis).

Medical practices use Relative Value Units (RVUs) as a method of payment adopted by Medicare. RVUs are a measure of the reimbursement, productivity, physician compensation and payer contracts. RVUs are not affected by how a practice sets its fee, the amount receivables or the insurance policy. They only neutralize the difference in cash flow that makes results confusing.
User can view the CPTs and Modifier combinations as separate line items. On the RVU Analysis Summary report. Also the Individual RVU element sub-totals are displayed at the grouping level and grand totals are displayed at the end of the report.
