What is a Patients Volume Report?

The Patient Volume Report is for Medicaid reporting. Practices need to report the total patients and Medicaid patients during a specified time for statistical calculations to be made.

User can generate the volume report based on:

•Location: This drop-down contains a list of all the locations of a practice.

•Provider: This multi select drop-down contains a list of all the providers. User can select multiple providers for patient volume report calculation.

•From/To: These date fields specify date range. Patient encounters falling in specified date range would be considered for patient volume report calculation (as Denominator).

•Medicaid Plans and Managed Care Plans: Both these multi-select drop-downs, list all plans. User can select the Medicaid and Managed Care Plans in their respective drop-downs as per their convenience. All visits that have these selected Medicaid and Managed Care plan as the Primary or Secondary Plan are counted in the numerator.
