What Options does Inbox Section Give Us?

Personal > Messages > Inbox

The ‘Inbox’ option allows the user to send and receive messages. There are two tabs in the ‘Inbox’ section i.e. ‘Patient’ and ‘Practice’. In both of these tabs, the user can Compose new messages, Reply to any message, Forward, Archive, Delete and Mark messages as Unread.

In order to carry out these actions, simply check the checkbox of any message and click on the desired action.

Inbox

The system remembers the last viewed page in the Inbox section of Messages component.

When the user navigates to the Messages section under the Personal Module and enters the Inbox, the system keeps track of the location within the message list. As they move to the next page or take any action within the page (such as deleting or archiving a message), they notice that the system no longer resets them to the initial page. This enhancement saves the user time and reducing the tedium of managing their messages.

Inbox Messages

The user can choose the number of messages displayed per page in the Inbox Section. When the user navigates to the “My Preferences” section within the Personal Module and lands on the “My Preferences-General” tab, an option called “Messages Per Page” with radio buttons is displayed in the Settings. This allows them to customize the number of messages they want to view on each page according to their preference.

In order for the user to set their preferred number of messages per page, click here. From there, the user can customize their message viewing experience according to their needs.

Once the user has selected their desired value from the “Messages Per Page” options and saved their choice, the system adjusts the message display in the Inbox. For example, if the user chooses to display 20 messages per page, they are able to see 20 messages listed on each page of the Inbox, providing them with an extensive overview of messages.
