Why does Pharmacy Send Rx Change Request?

There are three reasons why a pharmacy may send an Rx Change request:

• DUR (Drug Utilization Review)
• Therapy Change
• Substitution

Hovering over the Prescribed Medication, user can see a tool tip displaying the full drug name and sig information.

Against each prescribed medication, pharmacy sends Alternate Medication(s). These are listed in the Alternate Medications drop down menu.

User can select an alternate medication from the drop down menu and it is populated in the Alternate Medication field. The sig for the selected alternate medication is also populated in the Sig Information field.

As the user hover over the Alternate medication, the complete medication information is displayed in a tool tip.

The complete sig is also displayed in a tooltip upon hovering.
