How to Record Fraction of FeNO in Vitals?
For the vital records of allergy and asthma patients, users can record the value of exhaled Nitric Oxide (FeNO) from the ‘Vitals’ component. User can record the Fraction of exhaled Nitric Oxide (FeNO) at the time of adding or editing vitals. For this, Exhaled Nitric Oxide field is placed at the bottom of the Oxygenation section on the ‘Vitals’ screen.
Once done, click on the ‘Accept’ button from the top of the screen. The FeNO range is displayed on the Vitals screen depending upon the age of the patient.
If the patient is an adult, then Range is: 5ppb – 25ppb.
If the patient is a child, then Range is: 5ppb – 20ppb.
User can record and save the FeNO value on the vitals page. The updated vitals narrative is displayed on provider notes.
