How is Text to Pay Balance Generated?

The balance sent through the Text To Pay service or Manual Invoke feature is based on the total appointment-level balance, rather than the CPT level. 
When a user initiates a balance request, the system calculates the amount from the overall appointment balance. For instance, the total balance calculated at the appointment level from the image above amounts to $230. This is reflected in the ‘Patient Balance’ for when Text to Pay is generated for the patient.
This ensures that negative balances at the CPT level, which may cause discrepancies, are avoided.
