How to View Family Balance?
Patient > Registration > Family > Family Profile
The unapplied payment balance for the whole family can be seen next to the total that is labeled “Family Balance” at the bottom of the Balance column. The family balance is the sum of all balances pending in each of the member’s profiles when a family is setup/linked to another patient.
NOTE:
When a family is created, unapplied payment amounts can be shared among family members. The member that has the unapplied amount is displayed as Patient Unapplied whereas the remaining sum of the other family member’s unapplied balance shows up as Family Unapplied. Hovering over the Total Unapplied on the patient banner (above the Patient – Profile) shows details of the unapplied balance.
