How to Populate Referral PAN on a Charge?
Prior Authorization Numbers (PAN) or Referral Number is typically obtained at or before the Patient checks-in for an appointment by the front desk staff and will be auto-populated into the charge.
If patient’s insurance demands a referral number or PAN in the claim, user should check the ‘Referral Required’ box. In this case if user doesn’t enter the referral number or PAN of charge, application gives an alert to enter this information. However, user can ignore the message and send the claim.
