Character-Limited Fields for Social Determinants and Health Status in Clinical Intervention

Settings > Clinical Interventions

What’s Newnew_symbol-1

  • Two new free-text fields added to the Clinical Intervention section:
    – Social Determinants of Health Data
    – Health Status Assessments
  • Each field supports up to 500 characters of input.
  • Real-time character counting is displayed as the user types.
  • Input is automatically restricted once the 500-character limit is reached.
  • Saved values are stored with the intervention and retained without truncation.

How It Works

  • Navigate to the Clinical Intervention section within the applicable rule.
  • Enter information in the Social Determinants of Health Data or Health Status Assessments fields.
  • The character counter updates in real time as text is entered.
  • When the field reaches 500 characters, further input is blocked.
  • Save the intervention; the values entered are stored as part of the intervention record.

Benefits

  • Ensures concise and consistent documentation by enforcing a character limit.
  • Prevents data truncation and preserves full accuracy of saved interventions.
  • Provides structured fields for capturing SDOH and health assessment information.
  • Supports reliable storage and retrieval of clinical intervention details.
