How to Import CCD and SNOMED Codes From Patient Search?
Patient > Import Patient
Please note that the system matches the information provided by the user in the file to check if a similar patient exists in the application.
This helps avoiding co-occurrence of similar patient accounts in the application. If the patient with similar information does not exist, system creates a new patient account and populates the following data in it:
1. Demographics
2. Allergies
3. Medications
4. Diagnosis
The system checks if the SNOMED codes in the CCD file being imported exist in the system’s library or not. If not, these codes are imported to the system to keep the codes updated.
