What’s New

Three new assessments are available under the Substance Use Screening category:
– Fagerström Test for Nicotine Dependence (FTND)
– Penn State Cigarette Dependence Index (PSCDI)
– Penn State Electronic Cigarette Dependence Index (PSECDI) -
Assessment scores are automatically calculated using predefined question and scoring mappings.

The corresponding dependence level is automatically determined based on the calculated total score.

The calculated score and dependence level are displayed when the assessment is saved.

Calculated results are stored with the assessment and remain available for future viewing without requiring recalculation.

Dependence levels are system-calculated and cannot be manually edited.
How It Works

Navigate to the 10g Assessments module.

Open the Substance Use Screening category.

Select FTND, PSCDI, or PSECDI.

Complete the applicable assessment questions.

Save the assessment.

The system automatically calculates the total score based on the predefined scoring mappings.

The appropriate dependence level is automatically determined from the total score.

The calculated score and dependence level are displayed and stored with the assessment for future reference.
