Affected Appointments Tracking for Global Blocks

What’s New
With this enhancement in the CureMD application, users can now view all appointments impacted by global blocks directly from the Global Block Schedule. An Affected Appointments button is displayed on each block, allowing users to quickly identify appointments by provider, location, and patient details for better scheduling management.
When a user navigates to Settings > Practice > Global Block Schedule and saves or edits a global block, the system displays an Affected Appointments button on the block’s page. This button is always visible, regardless of whether the block affects existing scheduled appointments.
Clicking the Affected Appointments button opens a page displaying all impacted appointments in a structured table with the following columns:
- Appointment Time
- Provider/Resource
- Location
- Patient Name
- SSN (if available)
- Date of Birth
If multiple global blocks overlap with the same time slot, the affected appointment is listed under each applicable global block. This functionality mirrors the behavior already available in single-provider block scheduling.
This enhancement ensures practices can easily identify and manage scheduling conflicts caused by global blocks, improving visibility and reducing disruption to patient appointments.
