Comments for Generic Payments in Online Payment Log
What’s New?
Users can now enter a comment when adding a generic payment using the payment popup. This comment helps capture context and is visible later in the payment listing through a tooltip.

How It Works

When entering a generic payment, a multiline comment field appears at the bottom of the payment popup.

Users can enter up to 100 characters to explain the payment.

Once submitted, the comment is saved with the payment record.

In the Online Payment Log, if a payment includes a comment:

A comment icon appears at the end of the row.

Hovering over the icon reveals the full comment in a tooltip.

Payments without comments do not show the icon.
This enhancement helps users document payment details more effectively and retrieve that context later during audits or reviews.
