Account Number Filter and Email Receipt Option in Online Payment Log

What’s New?
The Online Payment Log now includes two new features:

  1. Account Number Filter – A filter field allows users to search payments by patient account number, narrowing results to a specific patient. An Account No. column is also displayed in each payment row.

  2. Email Receipt Option – An email icon is added at the end of each payment row to allow quick emailing of receipts.

How This Benefits You

  • Faster Lookups – Quickly find payment records for a specific patient using their account number.

  • Efficient Communication – Send receipts directly from the listing page without navigating elsewhere.

  • Visual Cues – Colored email icons indicate whether a receipt has already been emailed.

  • Audit Friendly – Every sent email is logged with a timestamp and user ID.

How It Works

  • Use the Account No. filter above the payment grid to search for transactions tied to a specific patient.

  • Each row includes an email icon at the end:

    • Blue = receipt not yet emailed

    • Orange = receipt already emailed

  • Hover to see the tooltip: “Send this receipt via email.”

  • Clicking the icon opens a popup:

    • If an email exists, it’s shown as non-editable with a ✕ option to clear.

    • If no email is stored, an editable field appears.

  • After entering or confirming the email, click Send.

    • The system validates the email format and sends the receipt.

    • A confirmation message appears and the event is logged.
