With this enhancement in the CureMD application, CPT fee schedule amounts on the Institutional Charge Page now update in real-time when the user changes the location, plan, or provider. This improvement ensures more accurate and efficient charge entry, removing the need for manual recalculations.

When entering CPT codes, the system automatically applies the appropriate fees. If the user changes the location, insurance plan, or rendering provider, the fee amounts are refreshed instantly based on the new selections.

If a CPT amount has been entered manually, the system retains it unless the updated fee schedule has a matching entry, in which case the system will apply the scheduled fee. Tabbing out of the CPT code field also triggers a refresh, maintaining consistency with the current charge entry process.

For Medicaid and other configured plans, fee schedule updates reflect the values defined in the Fee Schedule module, ensuring compliance with payer-specific billing rules.
