Adding Patient Preferred Name/Pronoun Flags in Note and Letter Template Builder
Settings > EHR > Templates > Notes
- Go to Settings > EHR > Templates > Notes
- In the Template Builder, open the “Patient” field dropdown and select “Patient Preferred Name” and “Patient Preferred Pronoun.”
- Once saved, the template can be used in a note and the selected flags automatically populate with the corresponding details from the Demographics page.
The user ensures that patient-preferred identifiers are accurately reflected without manual entry, improving clarity and inclusivity in documentation.
