Auto- Acknowledge Lab Results in Provider Note

User navigate to Personal>My preferences>General and user enables the “Auto Acknowledge Lab Results” bit and navigates to Provider Note > Lab > Results, they can streamline lab result documentation directly within the provider note. Upon selecting a lab result and clicking the “Accept” button, the system associates the result with the provider note. If the user’s name matches exactly with the ordering provider’s name, the lab result is automatically acknowledged, simplifying the provider’s workflow. In cases where the user’s name differs from the ordering provider’s name, the result is still added to the provider note but remains unacknowledged, preserving the integrity of the ordering provider’s documentation responsibilities. This feature helps ensure lab results are acknowledged only by the intended ordering provider, enhancing both compliance and efficiency in lab result handling.
