How to Enable Provider Note Confidentiality?

Users can mark a provide note as confidential. This prevents the particular provider note from being shared with HIEs and Patient Portal.

A provider note can be marked confidential during both creating and editing.

Follow the above mentioned workflow to land on the Provider Notes list.

Select a provider note to edit or click ‘+ Provider Note’ to create a provider note.

While creating a provider note, click the ‘Confidential’ check mark to enable confidentiality.

System allows user to mark note as confidential while adding components and once provider note is signed.

The confidential notes can be distinguished by  icon. Moreover, to filter confidential notes in Personal module user can enable Confidential checkbox and click on search icon to view the results.

Practice can also include/exclude confidential information when sharing information with HIEs.
