Result Dropdown Text Limit Increased

What’s New

• The character limit for result dropdown text fields has been increased to 75 characters.

• Longer, more descriptive result values can now be saved and displayed.

• The update applies to result dropdown configuration in both CPT procedures and laboratory codes.

How It Works 

• Navigate to Settings > Procedures > CPT > Add LOINC or Settings > Laboratories > Lab Codes.

• Add or edit a result dropdown option.

• Enter text up to 75 characters in the result dropdown text field.

• Save the configuration.

• The full text value is retained and available for use without truncation.
