1. General Functionality

The Intrapleural route is now available for selection in the following areas:

• Regimen Library:
  Users can configure drugs with the intrapleural route, which will be reflected across all related workflows. The routes dropdown has been expanded to accommodate lengthy route names such as ‘Intrapleural’ and ‘Intralesional.’
• Chemo Plan Module:
  The intrapleural route can be specified for applicable drugs, appearing in the “Drugs > Routes” section.
• Administration Module:
  The intrapleural route is visible in the “Drugs > Routes” section and supported in both standard and hospital administration workflows.
• Trial Drugs Module:
  The intrapleural route can now be assigned to trial drugs in Regimen, Chemo Plan, and Administration workflows.
• Drug Dispensing Popup:
  The intrapleural route appears in the “Routes” dropdown for drugs configured with this route.
• Drug Management Module:
  Drugs with a default intrapleural route can now be set in the Drug Management module, ensuring consistent behavior across impacted areas like Regimen, Chemo Plan, and Admin modules.

2. Billing Enhancements

• When administering drugs with the Intrapleural route, 1 unit of CPT Code 96440 will be billed automatically per administration.
• For multiple drugs with mixed intrapleural administration, only 1 unit of CPT Code 96440 will be billed.

3. Reporting Enhancements

• Intrapleural route details are now displayed in the following reports:
  • Chemo Plan
  • Pre-Authorization
  • Treatment Planner (Detailed)
  • Administration Form
