Online Bill Payment through Web Payment System

The Web Payment System introduces two workflows for online payment of medical bills, allowing patients to pay with or without a statement number.

This system prioritizes a secure, user-friendly experience, offering flexible options for patients while providing a seamless payment process.

Features and Enhancements

Payment Through Statement Number

  1. Starting the Payment Process
    • Patients click the “patient Payment” button on the healthcare provider’s website, which opens a pop-up window to start the payment process.

2. Entering Statement Information

    • Patients enter their statement number to proceed. If they don’t have this number, they can click on the “Do not have statement number?” link for alternative search options.
    • At the end of the statement number there is an information icon on hovering mouse it will tell us where the user can find the statement number on the statement.
    • On this screen there is also a check box of terms and conditions. By clicking continue or by clicking the checkbox means user is agree to terms and conditions.
    • On clicking the “Terms and Conditions” All terms will be shown.

    3. Payment Information Entry

    • After entering the statement number, patients can see the last statement amount on the “Patient Payment” screen.
    • On security Code there is an information icon on hovering, it indicates where to get the security code from the card.
    • User can pay a partial (Not less than $10) or full payment from this screen by editing the Transaction Amount.

4. Payment Completion Confirmation

    • A confirmation screen appears once the payment is processed, summarizing the transaction and offering a receipt.

    • On clicking the view Receipt, it shows the payment receipt.

    • On payment receipt there is an option to print receipt or to send it via e-mail.
    • Clicking on e-mail leads you to enter your e-mail address.
Enter Email Address
    • After adding a valid address click on the send button to send the e-mail.
    • Once the e-mail is sent a confirmation is shown that the e-mail has been sent.

Search and Pay without Statement Number

  1. Initiating Search

Lacking a statement number, patients click on ” Do not have statement number ” to access alternative search options based on personal information.

The system locates the patient’s account using the provided information when the “Continue” button is pressed.

3. Displaying Balances

The system shows the last statement balance and the total balance, allowing patients to understand their dues.

Patients can choose to pay either the last statement balance or the total balance, offering flexibility.

5. Completing the Payment

Patients complete the payment through an online method, with the system confirming the transaction upon completion.
