How to Map Incoming Clinical Notes without Providers?
Settings > EHR > HIE Partner
This mapping is implemented for all HIE partners.
In order to accommodate the inbound TRN messages to a new provider, an entity with the purpose of entertaining missing provider information is added into the provider identification dropdown.
Follow the workflow above to land on the ‘HIE Partners’ screen.
Click the required ‘Partner Profile’ to open ‘Edit Profile’ tab.
In the ‘Transactions’ section, click the ‘Clinical Notes – Inbound Settings’ icon.
Doing so displays the ‘Clinical Notes Inbound Settings’ screen.
Go to the ‘Provider Identification’ dropdown and select ‘External Provider’.
The inbound clinical notes will now be mapped without provider detail.
