While Chemotherapy administration is in progress the Chemo Administration Note is formatted. Administrations automatically feed to the note while in progress and the note is completed once the drug administration is complete and signed.

The Chemo Administration Note should always be signed from the Chemo Manager, not the EMR side. Once the Chemo Administration Note is signed the Super Bill is automatically prepared. The Superbill cannot be unsigned.

It is recommended that a new oncology practice is set up to have the manager/admin/biller complete the signing piece.  User can navigate to Config > Practice Configuration to mark the ‘Sign eSuperbill’ check box.

This allows corrections and updates in the administration leading to an accurate and complete Superbill.  The Sign eSuperbill at the completion of the administration can be reset after the practice becomes more proficient.
