What is Capacity Utilization?

This KPI shows the percentage of slots that are being utilized on the provider or resource’s calendar. The data can be displayed for a particular provider and location for the last twelve months. Given below are details on how these values are calculated.

• Available Slots: The total number of slots on a provider’s schedule for the month. This calculation takes into account the booking limit defined for each slot. However, all blocked slots are removed from the value.
• Utilized Slots: The number of slots for which the provider has seen a patient. Appointments with scheduled and confirmed status are not counted.

A count of the unbound slots (slots not bound to a reason group) is included in the ‘Available Slots’ column. Moreover, unbound slots are also represented in the ‘Capacity Utilization %’ field as well as the graph.
