What are the Mandatory Fields for Meaningful Use?
Settings > Practice > My Practice Settings > EHR
Mandatory fields include;
- Race
- Ethnicity
Users can add ‘Race’ to the drop-down menu. This field cannot be edited after it is saved.
For ‘Ethnicity’, users must choose an ethnicity from the drop-down menu on ‘Demographics’ screen in the ‘Patient Profile’ tab.”
Follow the workflow above to land on the EHR tab.
Go to the ‘Make Following fields Mandatory’ section.
Enable ‘Race’ checkbox and click ‘Save’ when done.
