Ordering 75 mg/m2 Docetaxel for a patient with weight 237 lbs can cause toxicity. So, if a Physician decides to lower Total Dosage to 150mg and at the same time wants to retain the evidence base dose to 75mg/m2. Enable Override check-box and enter these values.
However, directly changing (without enabling override checkbox) the system calculated Total Dose prompts the system to confirm whether to update the Unit Dose accordingly or to Retain it.
Override option will be marked if system calculated Total Dose is modified without changing the Ordered Dose.
