E&M (Evaluation and Management) codes are used to determine the level and complexity of care provided to the patient during the visit. E&M calculator automatically evaluates the E&M code for each encounter. CureMD application has established a set of complex rules to determine the E&M code for a specific encounter. The E&M rules were developed by CMS and CureMD is using the 97 Guidelines for documentation.
